Fished both lakes today - caught 12 small bass (except for one about 3 pounds) in the small lake and 4 bream.  Caught another 21 bass in the bigger lake - most were unders but had a few solid 2 plus pounders.  Fished the dam today and found most of the fish out in deeper water over grass out from the dam.  Ended the day on the shallow end of the lake throwing flies from the shallow water to just where it started getting deeper - had a big time on my new 3 wt fly rod today.  Made those smaller bass seem lots bigger and the bigger ones seem like grown up bass.  Saw a giant bass cruising the shallows but I didn't get a shot at him.  Looked to be a 7 or 8 pound bass or bigger.  Maybe next time.
