We fished Sunday morning and caught 2.  One went 5 1/2 pounds and the other 3 pounds, both on Texas rigged lizard out by the brush piles.  Quality fish.  The new dock is very nice and makes it very easy for loading and unloading the pontoon boat.  Talked with Craig for a bit on the way out.  Always a pleasure

where are the brush piles? i have not seen any marked on that lake?

There is one brush pile about 50 feet straight out from the discharge tube in the middle of the lake and then there is hump in the middle of the lake further down that is marked with a white buoy.  We never catch big numbers there, but we usually catch at least one or two that go over 5 pounds.

i usually catch a couple by the back feeders, but cant get a bite anywhere else. i will see if i can find the brush piles.

Craig was telling us that a guy caught a 9.4 the week before we were there.  Might that be you?

yes , i have caught some quality fish there. i just get a bite about once every 2 hrs.

I am right there with you. I catch about a fish every two hours or so. I do not know the latest electrofishing survey data as relates to the density of bass per acre of lake at this property.
