Fished Waterboo this morning with fellow member Chris Casner.  We caught 24 bass and 4 bream all on fly rods.  We had the best luck close to the creek mouth and surrounding area.  Caught some on top on poppers and a little mouse fly and the rest with wooly buggers or wooly bugger knock offs.   The lake is down a foot or two and there is a lot of vegetation in the lake but its absolutely still very fishable.  We caught a lot of fish but they were all "unders" and even though 24 bass is a lot of fish - for Waterboo this would be an "off" day.  Bass Forecast only rated today a 4.5 and Waterboo fished "fair" consistent with that rating.  We ate lunch at Sweetie Pies Rib Eyes in Decatur and that made the trip a total success.  A great little steak, a pork chop, some hot rolls and some ice cold iced tea will top off any fishing trip as a win.
