My wife and I had a very nice day at Boatwright. We caught 37 LMB, 35 were removed that were under the slot (of the 35 only around 4 were 13 inches the rest were dinks), 2 - 14.5 inch bass were returned. We lost probably 20 more due to non-hook sets or missed strikes. The lake is very secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed the tight lines but the solitude was paramount. We will defiantly be back.

Sandy,

What was the aquatic vegetation situation like?  It can get pretty heavy at the end of the lake away from the launch.

The vegetation was normal around the banks averaging 2 to 5 feet from shore. There were some heavy algae in 2 areas. see attached photo.
