Fished Malouf Monday am from about 6:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.  All fly rod.  Nothing on top and I was surprised by that but it was pretty flat and calm when I started out in the am.  I like just a little bit of wind on the the top water flies.  Black wooly bugger got the job done landing 18 bass and 9 bream.   About a third of the bass were in the 2 to 3 pound class and the remainder were "fly rod" bass - culls on culling lakes. The grass is getting pretty thick and I was fishing on the edges of the grass out a little deeper.  Caught all the fish on the west side of the lake (ramp side) but I didn't fish the other side much either.   It was a great morning and a great way to start the week.
