Fished Sunday afternoon.  We used the v-hull boat as it handle better in windy conditions. Having the Minnkota 55 makes a big difference. Plus we added A weedless prop which just cuts thru the weed mat.  Fishing started fast and ended fast. Around 6:30 pm we noticed the dark sky to the north. We loaded everything back to the truck and by then the wind switched to the north and temp dropped 10 degrees.  Got home before the rain.  We only threw frogs and that seemed to be the ticket.  The water is slightly stained. Biggest of the day around 4 pounds. All fish fat and healthy.  There are 5 resident geese living on Jer Mar.  Plus looks like beaver activity as lots of cat-nine tails floating on the water.  We made the right call and leaving before the evening bite.
