This was only my second visit to this property, but I had an idea of how I was going to fish today, and they cooperated.

I threw a Zman Hard Leg FrogZ all day(6am-4pm). That single bait received ~60 blowups, quite a few of them too small to do anything except pull it underwater briefly, which resulted in a lot of misses sizzling back to the boat. The rest were almost all 12-13 inch bass, which a few put up a decent fight by digging into the grass and making me winch them out. Mixed in with the smalls were two a little bigger, cusp of 14 inches and strong fighters, and the two giant green sunfish. These sunfish ate the 5/0 hook I was using with the frog.

My lady was not having the best of luck with the fluke, so I put her on the curly tail minnow and ultralight and she started catching a little of everything. Two nice size crappie, a handful of hard fighting bluegill, and assorted bass 8-12 inches.
