Went towards the Dam first thing as the wind was already beginning to blow. Threw top water frogs and plastics (flukes and worms). Color didn't seem to matter when throwing plastics.  The fish we caught were all from 14 inches to 17 inches.  They all looked healthy and fat.  Very surprised that we did not get any in the 18 to 20 inch range. The pontoon boat makes it nice for 3 fishing to spread out their gear.  Plenty of water to fish. Wild flowers covered the fields. A nice pair of whistling ducks were seen.  Just a nice day of fishing fun. My son in law did catch his first top water bass on a Sprinker frog.  So he  goes home with a memory and 10 culls to filet.
