I fished Bridle Oaks on Saturday 5/25 from 6:30-11:00 AM.  Air temp was 76 to start and winds were light initially.  I started with top waters and had intermittent success.  I pushed this for the first hour and a half.  I started noticing some swirls near some bream beds and started fishing that pattern.  The bream bed pattern was hot and I stayed with this till the wind became difficult.  

The lake is getting pretty moss- filled. Maybe 50 percent covered.  So the key was fishing the edges of the open water.  In some cases the moss was too thick to motor through so it was necessary to completely lift the trolling motor and paddle to the next open water.  

The fish were all healthy and fought hard.  I caught no dink’s and had very few culls.
