My friend got ill so it was just me on the lake from 6:30 to 4. Started off nice and calm, no top water bite, I did miss one right at the boat when it came up and saw me before it glanced the whopper plopper. Had a nice little sprinkle of rain which I thought would be great for a buzzbait, but no takers. Then it rained for a short period of time.  Nice lake, a lot of very bassy looking places. Water temp was 70, grass around most of the lake and also has the slimy grass in some places that gets on everything. The three geese make it exciting since there is is only one female. Also, a Green Heron seemed to follow me around when I was in the trees. Look up this bird, it is really striking, especially it's orange legs.
