We fished JerMar on Friday 4-26, we caught 7 scattered all over the lakes. With the recent rains the lake was very full and overflowing. The milk chocolate water and debris and slime made it a bit more of a challenge to work the lures/worms correctly. One of the larger fish had a bite out of its back behind the dorsal fin, kinda looked like a gar got him. The females have spawned and were skinny but fought hard when they took the bait. Upper JarMar was overflowing into the larger lake. We didn’t launch the boat because of the amount of water going out of the overflow. The 3 best fish came by the overflow, fishing the current with a slow retrieve on a shad sq bill cb. Caught a brim the size of a dessert plate on a 8 in black ribbon worm, crazy fish had the entire worm inside it’s mouth. Snakes are out and active, we saw 3 and a copperhead shed by the boat dock. Only 1 fish caught in the cull range, for that I was thankful. Y’all have a great day, tight lines. Ron
