Bluebird skies after a cold snap, and muddy water… so the setup wasn't ideal. But we made it work anyway. I've never seen a swim senko fail to get bit.

7 fish, all in the 2-3.5lb range

1 slow rolled night spinnerbait

1 white chatterbait

2 b/b fat ika

3 3" bluegill swimbat

Took until the last hour of the trip to decode the pattern (fast, steady moving, or dead slow Ika). Like others, the weed edges were the most productive. Nothing in the standing timber or laydowns.

Moss can be challenging unless you are in the boat.

Saw the biggest turtle I've ever seen - 18" diameter maybe bigger snapper.
