Fished with fellow member and lifelong friend, Stephen Anderson on 4/11/19. On the water around 7am and quickly found a bite shallow on frogs. Overcast, stiff breeze, around 60 degrees all morning, water temps 65-67, visibility around 3-4ft+. Broke for lunch around 12, back around 1, fishing till 4ish. Fish were scattered around the edges and deep in the middle of the various vegetation. Steve got on a worm bite in little deeper water in the afternoon. Tried stumps several times with jerkbait, chatterbait and worms with zero bites. Briefly fished smaller pond and caught one on frog.

You have to love fishing and appreciate the nuisances between days of fishing and different fisherman. Just a few days earlier, Dave Newsome fished the lake and got his fish on plastics in deeper water. Your day was fish on top in shallow water. Four days difference on the same lake produced such differences.
