I took a non member guest with me to Triple J ranch. First off, this place is incredibly easy to get to. At a quarter mile off I-45 it’s the easiest location I’ve been to.  

We fished from the club boat and the wind was strong enough I spent most of the day running the troller and letting him fish. All fish came on a bluegill colored chatterbait. Lots of moss starting to suspend in the water column. I’ve always heard at a certain water temp that stuff starts to float and as the water warms it will sink back down. I couldn’t fish anything other than the chatterbait without it getting slimmed with moss. We didn’t catch any dink’s and most were 17-18 inches long but did have one solid 3.5 pounder.

We both had a good time but only put up with the wind about 4 hours.
