Lures Used : Senko, swimbait, top water, chatter
Started at 730 and went to noon. Went around the perimeter and got nothing but 1 pop’r strike. Moved to the middle of the lake between the dead trees and got 8 in the last hour. Caught them on swimbaits and chatterbaits. Let them sink to the bottom and slowly reeled them back in. Caught everything 3 to 6 cranks off the bottom.

I really enjoyed fishing this property with Bill Fetech a few weeks ago. Like you, I didn't have any luck against the bank around the perimeter. However, I did really well (21 fish up to 5.7 lbs) 20 to 40 feet out from the bank, all the way around the lake. I caught all but one on black or blue fleck TRW. One (the largest one) I caught on topwater between the boat dock and the dam. Bill caught his largest one near the boats as well. I caught several smaller ones (1-2 lbs) across the lake from the boat dock, fishing over the submerged weeds. Still they were 20 to 40 feet from the bank. I didn't catch anything out in the middle of the lake like you did.
