Wife and I fished from 11 to 5. Cloudy to partly sunny and a bit windy. Pretty good day. Landed 13 total and only 2 were culls. average fish was 2 - 2/1/2 lbs, fat and healthy. Lost about a half dozen more. Tried carolina rigged lizard, crankbaits, chatterbait. The only bait we caught fish on was a senko and color did not seem to matter much. Not much action in the deeper water around the standing timber. Most fish were caught along the banks on the northwest and northwest sides. Very good day for the second out of the year.
