I took a guest to Rock Chimney of the afternoon of the 19th and we landed 18 bass altogether.  It was overcast and windy and it took us quite a while to find where the bass were.  We got 14 of the 18 from two small areas , both shallow banks directly facing the wind.  Most of the fish were egg-laden females showing evidence of active spawning, only a few were smaller, thinner males.  We weren't sight fishing beds and were a little surprised that we didn't get more males.  Most were 15-18" and fat with the largest one over 19" and very fat.  Texas rigged worms and small crankbaits were the successful baits.  I managed to get one on my second cast with a Whopper Plopper but couldn't duplicate it.

I like this lake. Sounds like the fishing is just going to continue to improve.
