Fished Friday afternoon on a perfect Spring day. Wind was light, water temp 65 degrees and air temp 74 degrees. I threw everything in the box at em the first 2 hours, fished all over the lake with nothing but a few taps on a blue/black senko on the dam. Took a snack break watching the hogs root up the east bank (one brown one was a monster 300 plus pounder) and decided that the candy corn 5" senko was the bait to try next. Within  a couple of casts I landed a nice 2lb fish near the duck blind. Stayed on the dam and caught several smaller fish and then went back near the duck blind and boated a stout 4 plus mean as the devil and fat as a fritter girl. Stayed with the candy corn throwing against the bank and ended the day with just 9 total. Saw two nice deer on the south end but caught nothing there. A great day out for sure but a kinda slow fishing day.
