Fished Kickapoo from dawn till noon.  We both were on fly rods.  Ended up catching 16 mostly smallish bass.  We returned 10 and culled 6.  Caught 4 with sinking line out a little deeper around the "handle" of the horseshoe and caught a few just off the edge of the weeds by the damn.  Caught one on a top water fly on the "left" side of the horseshoe.  Right side of the horseshoe looked great but didn't generate any bites this trip - has in the past.  Really beautiful day and great day to be out on the water.
