Billy Morton
Fingerling
My wife, son, and myself got on Hawg Trough at about 7am. It was pretty dang cold, somewhere around 47 degrees. I will spare you the time and give you a summary. Just as the title says, between the three of us, I had one fish hit my topwater plug, it was a nice 5.13 lbs. That was the only bite between us all day and we threw everything we had in the tackle bags. There was absolutely no activity on the water all day, no signs of bluegill, bream, baitfish, no bass hitting the top or anything. The water was still pretty cool to the touch, I think we were about 2 weeks early.
