Fished Escondido on Sunday from 7:30 until around 4:30.
Conditions:
- water clarity : 18 inches
- water temp: 59
- air temp: 65-85
- wind: gusty most of the day
- Sky: cloudy most of the morning, clear in the afternoon
Unsuccessful lures: ribbit frog; popper; chatter bait; senko; jig; paddle tail; most crank baits; rattletrap
The one successful lure was an orange, brown, chartreuse medium running crank fish only in one location. That was the only successful lure that day. I hooked 9 and landed 6. All 18-19 1/2 inches and 3-4 lbs.
