Fished from mid morning to mid afternoon. Caught 4 fish in the 16" range. Wind was too tough. Couldn't establish a pattern. Going back when water is warmer. Caught fish on very shallow running square bills in very shallow water. Fish were not fat but healthy. Jon R Lewis

This lake really turns on in April. Check some old reports and I have detailed some productive areas. Your right about a tough fishing in the wind. I really like wacky worms and flukes in watermelon seed and red Shad. The top water can be a hit or miss adventure. Good luck.
