John Shepard and I arrived at Rock Chimney at noon to get a little fishing in before the next cold front hit.

Found the tank full, water temp 54F and water clarity down to a foot. Skies were overcast all day with a SW wind blowing around 15mph with gusts up to 20.

Fished the entire perimeter from the bank. Tried everything with no success till 3:30pm. Fish finally kinda of started to commit to worms and senkos presented via Trig and dropshot (wacky) just off of the bank, outside of the submerged weeds. During the last hour before dusk we were surprised to find them chasing a buzzbait!

Between the two of us we caught 9 healthy LMB ranging between 15-17" . Several of them appeared to be prespawn females.

Till February,

Bob

Not bad at all for this time of year, Bob - well done!
