When traveling up 75 in McKinney and the hay fields were under water I got a bad feeling. The road to Lower Jer Mar is passable just be careful.  The water is chocolate brown and flowing over the spillway like Niagara Falls.  We threw everything dark from worms to chatterbaits to spinnerbaits.  Lots of things with vibrations. Fished all the ponds and not one bite. The big tree usually visible in Jer Mar was no where to be found.  So main road is ok, I would not try to drive over to Beaver pond.  The weather was good until 3 pm then the front came thru and we went home. Not much fishing talk on the ride home, so we lied about other trips we have taken.  Funny as time passes the fish get larger in our memories. The brain is an amazing thing to help us feel safe and comfortable. Rain gauge at Jer Mar was at 5 inches.j
