Absolutely beautiful morning of fishing; water like glass a majority of the time/no wind until approx 1130, temps perfect (for the fisherman anyway).  Things started off well for us with a 3 lb'er within 10 minutes of getting on the water.  Total of five > 14 inches were returned; caught on square-billed crankbaits and chatterbaits.  Unable to identify a pattern to speak of; three were culled.  What didn't work = spinnerbaits, spinners, plastic worms/tubes, jointed shad raps, and blade baits.  While not a particularly productive day per se, it was nice to get back on the water after an approx 1-month break.  Another fun day out on the water...
