I fished Thursday 10/11 with a good friend down from Oklahoma.  He was still licking his wounds from the Texas OU game!

Very cold that morning and the wind was howling.  Decided to fish from the bank (Mostly in in the smaller lakes) to let it warm up and hoped the wind would die down.  The water in all the lakes is very high and muddy.    We did manage to catch about 10-12 from the bank in the AM.  All fairly small and harvested.  All caught on Plastics. 

Went to lunch at Escondidos in VA.  Loved that place when it was in Dallas.   Ate too much but it was good. 

Headed back to the lake and the wind had died down a little so we did use the V-hull boat.  It was in good shape and did not leak.   Caught 4 more all 2-3 lbs and released.    Tired of fighting the wind so we wrapped up early and headed home.  Not a bad day considering the cold and wind.
