Went to Timber Lake with my son Joe on Sept 26th. We saw a Feral Hog convention driving across the property. We had visions of grandeur after reading the last reports prior to our trip as both reports had listed 60 to 70 fish days. That wasn't the case for us but I had a lot of fun watching my son casting his BPS Double Down Ploppers in the open pockets between the trees. Lots of nice fish returned between 2 and 4 lbs. We only culled one out of all that were caught. I only caught two fish in the morning sticking with my soft plastics. Topwater was the ticket for sure that day.The fish were as acrobatic as they come. My son Joe was just shy of 20 fish when the nasty cold front and rain arrived at 11:00am. Only two fish caught in the afternoon. The fishing went dead after the storm moved thru.

Alfred,
Thanks for the post.
The first time I met the owner, he had 40+ pigs in a giant pen that had been trapped the night before. It was quite a sight. Glad you caught some solid fish in the 2-4 lb range.
