My family gave me a membership for my birthday, and this was our first trip!  My youngest son and I headed to Malouf early on Labor Day, arriving at crack of dawn…in the rain!  We caught 14 bass, early near shore on spinner baits, 1 on Rapala, 1 on an old Moss Boss in the grass, and late AM mostly on Rat-L-Traps in the trees.  Largest around 2.5 lbs.  Could not get a hit on a worm….crazy.  Rained most of the AM, but still had a great time!
