Total Fish/Sizes : 14 bass, 1-3.5 lbs
Lures Used : worm, crankbait, carolina-rig

Once again, the weather cooperated nicely, starting at 68 deg, ending about 90 deg with light and variable winds. The water was clear to 2-3 feet and weeds were heavy, but have receded some from my last trip here.

I fished from 7 am to 2 pm, and caught 14 nice bass from 1.25 to 3.5 pounds.  All bass were healthy and good fighters. I think all of them were longer than 14 inches.

I caught most on a carolina rig with 1/2 oz brass weight, glass bead, and carolina keeper. Ribbontail worm and creature baits worked. Caught a few on a weightless senko early, and a few on carankbait. Most fish caught by setting the boat in 15 feet of water and casting into 5-7 feet. The best spot was to the left side of the overflow spillway along the dam.

I spent some time with a portable sonar unit, and was very surprised by the severe depth changes along the channels throughout the lake, and by the number of humps and unexpected troughs in the main body of the lake.

Another great day of fishing!
