Fished Sunday with 2 guests. First time at this popular property. Lake about 2 feet low with water temp 87 -90. Wind kept us off the lake for much of the day. Caught 8 and harvested 4. Most fish caught off the dock or bank.
Big bass went 4lb. 7oz on a black, 7 in TR powerworm. 3 pounder caught on a TR senko. Neither were skinny fish. Both caught to left of dock near fence. Zero fish on topwaters, swim baits, or jigs. Kept looking for that frog bite in the pads early and late, but no takers. Hope to stay in cabin next time.

It can be feast or famine at Lakeside, Keith. For the frog bite, I usually have to try several retrieve types and speeds to determine what those choosy fish want to hit. Don't feel bad!
