Took 2 of my sons out for a little birthday outing.  We got there about an hour later than we planned due to an "alarm clock malfunction", but we still had a great day.  We caught fish all morning right up until noon, when we packed up.  We had a lot of luck with topwater early, switched to cranks and plastic worms.  Even though we likely missed the most productive hour of the morning, we still caught around 30 fish, harvesting about half of those.  2 of us had a nice fish in the 5-6 lb. range and my older son had a really nice fish break his line off.  Never saw it but he swears it was a MONSTER!  (Like all the ones that get away, HA) There's a lot of nice underwater timber and most of our larger fish were in deeper water around the timber.  Great property - we'll be back and next time we'll get there on time!
