My 9 year old son bailed out on me and I had lots of work waiting, but decided to make a quick trip to Canton anyway. Showed up at sun rise and decided to throw just one quick popper in the little pond before hitting the main lake. I never made it to the main lake. :)

I walked around the pond throwing a Yellow Magic for about a little over an hour. I kept saying, "last cast, then get in the boat", but then I'd catch another one. I released 2 over 2lbs, culled 8, and had 4 more get off right at the bank.

Fast action top water is a great way to start the day. Especially since I was home and the fish were cleaned by 10:30.
