This post is a little late but my wife and I fished Timber Lake one the afternoon of the 4th. The area received around an inch of rain the night before. The lake was a little dingy but not too bad and we has good cloud cover for part of the afternoon. We got on the water at about 2pm and fished til dusk. Landed 13 fish, including only 3 culls. We lost another 3 or 4 more. A pumpkin Senko and a white fluke seemed to be the only lures that worked consistently. It was a great way to spend the 4th!
