Father-in-law and I fished Pecan Springs for 5 hrs on Saturday morning 6/23. Enjoyed the spot, good access off county road and short drive in. Good tree cover all around to escape the sun as necessary. Caught roughly 16 large mouth, most were sub 12" but a few in the +18" range. Hottest spot was on North side of dock near boat ramp. Most of the fish were caught on Carolina rigged 3" pumpkin lizards and 4" chartreuse finesse worms. Father-in-law casted mostly shallow diving crank baits and didn't have as much luck.
