Got to take my son from Seattle fishing Saturday morning from 6 to 12 at this great looking lake. Love the drive in over the rolling hills. And the lake is so unique. Weather started off great, cool with light winds and a little sprinkle. Son was fly fishing  mostly top water and kept up with me through out the day on my ultralight spinning reel. Caught 37 bass (all but one culled) and 4 sunfish (all released).  If we weren't culling you'd swear you caught the same fish you just threw in the livewell. Son caught most on topwater fly popper while I caught most on Beetle Spin. I know the club has taken a lot of fish out of this lake in a short period of time, glad we could be a part of improving this fishery. Can't wait for the fish to grow up on this lake.  Great morning spent with son outdoors  - priceless.
