Fingerling
Gin clear water (greater than 5ft and probably closer to 10) and tons of vegetation made for a so so day. The grass was all over. I was sitting in the middle of the lake and had to maneuver the trolling motor around grass. I tried frogs over the top w limited success. Best luck was a bluegill color swimbait along the edges of the grass. Some senko action. Some jig action on the brush. 7am-1pm. Total of 19. 7 thrown back. Largest was 4.5.
I’d love some advice on the weeds. It was thick/dense along the edges for a good 20ft and all over the north side. Other than a frog what else can you throw into that junk? There were no alleys to throw into. Also, northernmost brush marker/pilon is no longer.

Have you tried punching the thickest mats?
