Fry
Fished Six O on Saturday and fought the wind (like every trip this Spring).
Water temp was 62-63 degrees. Caught 11 including a 5 lb 11 oz & a 10 lb 5 oz in three casts. Both were full of eggs.
The majority (including the big girls) were caught on a 6 inch Senko. The rest on a Lucky Craft Pointer 100. Also had a something destroy a 5 inch swimbait but missed it.
It looked to me like the spawn is wrapping up. Most of the fish were 15"-16" males and a rail thin 20" that appeared to have spawned out
Below are pictures of the 10 05. Apologize for the quality, don't have the "talent" to take pictures when I'm by myself. Notice no sunglasses in the picture. First year I did not enter the big bass contest.
Have to acknowledge Steve and the Private Water Fishing team (and Ted & Kim) for all the work they have put into this property. Those of us who have been around a while remember when you couldn't catch a 20 incher and if you did it was all head and no body. There will be some more DDs coming out of Six O.
