Fished the afternoon on the east lake. The water was high and clear. The wind blew hard all day out of the north. I had a hard time keeping the boat in position and getting a good cast. Landed five fish including one that was 4.94 lbs. (I'm calling that one 5 lbs.!) and one that was almost 3 lbs. The others were 1.5 to 2 lbs. All on the north west side with a red shad worm except one on a jig. I also lost a good fish on the jig. I lost several fish in the timber when they hung me up on limbs and stumps. 

The wind was tough, but the 5 pounder made the day!
