Had Hat and Star for afternoon of 3/3.  Met the owner as driving up to launch area and had a great conversation before getting on the lake to gentle winds that got stronger and pretty well drained my four-year old battery.  Knew it was coming soon but waiting to win the lottery so can get a lithium.  Fear of muddy water from recent rains unfounded but water was stained with visibility to about 18".  Lake above must have caught the runoff and I was told that it almost had a dam failure with sinkhole appearing but has been filled.Struggling with wind and low battery I was able to boat and harvest 8 ranging from 12-15 inches.  Missed several more du to wind and slack line on plastic worm.  3 of the 8 harvested full of eggs that looked ready for spawn.  All but one were holding very tight to brush with strikes coming after work bait through brush and allowing to drop. 

Like other reports, this lake has got to have some really big fish but must take more than two trips to figure them out.
