Thought we were supposed to escape the wind for the afternoon, but it remained cool and breezy all afternoon on Sunday. Outside temps ranged from 63 down to 55 with N/NE wind from 12 to 15 mph. Finally found some willing fish on the upper end in shallower, cloudier (and probably a bit warmer) water. Got in about 3 ½ hours of fishing and landed 12 healthy bass from 1 ½ to 4 lbs. They fell for a spinnerbait, a lipless crankbait, a squarebill, a swim jig, and a weightless senko. Enjoyed the afternoon for the first outing of the year.
