Wife and I fished Pecan Springs Ranch Saturday afternoon - mix of sun and clouds, maybe 9mph SSW wind, high 70's outside temp and low to mid 60's water temp with water clarity at about 24". Landed 21 with 20 of them being identical little guys about 12" or 13" long and finally a 5lb 0oz chunk that Pam landed (of course) - mostly had luck with an underspin with a paddle tail and a curly tail grub/jig, and a couple on a jerkbait, and one on a squarebill crankbait. As Mr. Carpenter noted in a prior report and others have noted about many of the properties, the lake is quite low. One thing about Pecan Springs, it is well kept with the automatic gated entry and the gravel road and the mown grass - just seems like they roll out the red carpet for you.
