Had a great day out on Lancaster Malouf Lake on Saturday Nov. 18th; the winds were avg. 20+ mph and gusting 30+ mph, but decided to get the boat out and give Malouf an honest shot. We arrived at the lake around 1:30 PM and worked the dam over pretty well, catching several fish under 14". As we worked the east bank and the points, we started catching good 2 - 3 lb. bass on chrome rattle traps, and green-pumpkin chatterbaits. Most of the bass were staged in 1 - 3 ft. of water, and the chatterbait seemed to be the preferred bait for the big ones. Ian hooked up on a 5 - 6 lb. fish but landing it wasn't meant to be, she jumped at the boat and gave us a good look, while simultaneously throwing the chatterbait out of her mouth. Ended fishing at 5:15 PM, and managed to boat +/- 40 bass with about 30 of those averaging 2 - 3 lbs. I Inluded a short 2:00 min video clip of fishing that day. Sure enjoyed your report, Cole.  You guys had a great afternoon.

What type of trailer do you like to use on your chatterbait?

Happy Thanksgiving!

On the green-pumpkin chatterbait we used watermelon Zoom Super Flukes with just the split tails dipped in chart dip-n-dye as trailer.
