How many lures does it take to catch 12 bass?

For me, it took 16 different lures (excluding color changes) tried of which 8 actually caught a fish at Post Oak on Monday afternoon.  I really established no pattern, catching one or two bass each on; small squarebill, deep diving crank, finesse dropshot, Senko dropshot, chatterbait, texas-rigged worm, buzzbait, beetlespin. These baits yielded no strikes: underspin, medium-diving crank, lipless crank, jig with and without trailer, spinbait, jerkbait, popper, shakey head worm.  Almost no surface activity and only 3 bass at my "normal" places.  Most of the 13-16" bass were caught on apparently featureless flats (but only two at most at any part of the lake).  The largest (19") bass was the most fun; an explosive buzzbait strike at sunset.

John. When I was there several weeks ago, I also did not find a pattern, no top water hits, and nothing near standing timber.
