Fished Sunday afternoon for 4 hours. Light breeze with mild temps made it nice. We caught 15 for the afternoon and harvested 6 Bass all between 12 and 13 inches. Threw watermelon plastics to teach son in law the bite. Weeds are dying back and cat nine tails were blowing their fluffy seed heads across the pond. Not many ducks sitting on the pond until around 4 pm then flocks flying overhead one after another. A group of 12 Canadian honkers landed just in front of the blind. Today was a good day to give the tap tap lesson to son in law. I'm not sure he has it yet but I will take him out again. I'd have to tell him his line was moving sideways and to set the hook. The biggest we got for the day was 3.5 pounds. We shared a lot of lies about our adventures outdoors while in the boat and on the drive. Now to share some turkey on Thursday with the family. They came up early from Houston as Grand daughter had an interview and campus tour at UNT for the school of Music. She has been an all state singer for sophomore and junior years and looking to do it again her senior year of high school. Makes you proud to see your family happy and healthy. Everyone have a safe and fun filled Thanksgiving.
