Foggy and cool with a strong wind is the way the day started.  Didn't see the sun until 3pm.  Weeds are dying back so we thru some top water frogs plus one of us spent the day throwing the Sprinker frog.  In my opinion I will stay with Ribbit frogs.   You can cast the Sprinker a mile but any short hits and you could lose the tail.  We lost 2 tails.  Replacement tails are $8 for a four pack.  I think the action on a Ribbit or whopper plopper  is just as good.  Caught fish all over the lake and ended up with 25 for the day with 14 going back into the lake.  Lake is in good shape. For the duck hunters we had two groups of Ducks on the lake with 8 in each group.  We talked about fishing the upper lake but never tried. Has anyone fished the upper lake with success?
