Light fog was laying on the water when I arrived the lake looked great. East wind was ripping about +20mph, decided not to launch the boat. I walked the bank from the ramp around and across the dam past the duck blind. The bite was slow I’m sure the wind played a factor. I threw a green pumpkin flake worm and the fish were buried up in the weeds, you could see them flash out to attack your worm. Changed to a black/blue flake worm after the fog burned off and still caught a few more. I tried a shallow running crank in a Shad pattern, starting and stopping the retrieve once I got into the little pockets of protected water over past the duck blind, so much fun watching them get blown up. I will be back soon, hopefully with less wind. In total caught 11, in 3.5 hrs. There is SO much lake I need to fish. Fished Wed 11-01
