Fished Escondido on chilly, calm Sunday Oct 29th. Even on a 35 degree morning this lake doesn't fail to impress. We had 3 Bass over 4 pounds, and 6 more in the 1.5-2.5lb range. No particular pattern as they hit various topwaters, spinnerbaits and unweighted flukes. Saw lots of deer and Turkeys and a fox as well.

No culls this trip, and the good news is that the lake is back to normal levels, after being a good 4 feet low from a leak in the dam on our last visit. Bad news is front gate is still tempermental.....had to remove the pin to get in the property...going out it worked perfect.
