Fingerling
I fished Old Oaks Ranch on Saturday for the first time. 20 bass were landed in 2 hours and 45 minutes of fishing. Conditions were cloudy with light wind for the most part. The last hour the wind picked up a bit, but a steady bite continued. Top waters were unsuccessful early. Same for Texas rigged Power Worms. When I changed to unweighted Sencos the bite began. Most of the fish were in the pound to 1 1/2 pound range with a couple at 2 1/2 pounds. All were caught in brush relating to the bank and around the island.

Tom,
Try a small squarebill around the brush and in the shade under the trees. My largest to date there is around 4# but most are 1.5 - 2.5#.
