Fingerling
Fished from sun up to 11am, weather in the 70s, overcast with the pressure dropping and no wind. Beautiful morning. Had a topwater bite for about an hour with Pop'rs, then killed them with weightless green Senkos for the rest of the morning, didn't matter what color fleck as they hit it all. Caught 22 with many more missed bites, very aggressive fish. Most of the fish in the 1.5-2.5 lb area with some occasional 3s pushing 4 lbs mixed in; even the smaller ones punched above their weight. I stayed exclusively on the boat launch side of the lake, never made it around to the dam or the other side just because the action was so steady where I was. Made me remember why I enjoy this property so much.
