Paul Barner joined me on Friday.9/27.  We were excited to fish this new lake for the first time. Air temp was low 60's when we started and rose to low 80's and was it cloudy most of the time until we left at 3:00.  Winds were light and shifting in a number of directions. Didn't have depth/fish finder so don't know what water temp was but it felt warm. We caught 12 with largest 4 3/4 and 5 harvested. Most fish hit Blue/Black Yumdinger around the tress in the middle of the lake. Only one top water on a frog and one on crank. Didn't want Spinnerbait, Underspin, Swimbait, Tx rigged craw or any other top water. Bite was not aggressive. Only two fish after lunch. The grass around the edges of the lake is black, slimy and gets on anything thrown into it. Pontoon boat was great for the two of us. Nice addition to club.
